Sheryl Gardner is the Founder & Director of National Salon & Spa Recruitment, which has been operational for over 11 years.
Sheryl has an extensive background in building and growing two successful national companies in the past.
Her expertise mainly is in business development and relationship development. However her passion is to help Salon owners in not only finding the right team, also in mentoring and coaching our salon owners in building their businesses.
Chief Operating Officer
With over 15 years’ experience in the recruitment sector across both corporate and labour hire, Kiara began working with National Salon & Spa Recruitment almost 5 years ago. Kiara has a personal interest in hair and beauty so this was a natural progression for her.
With a no nonsense approach to assisting salon owners with their staffing needs, Kiara is highly skilled in helping our clients ‘think outside of the box’ to ensure they receive the best result for their investment. She relies on real time data and analytics reports to ensure we are constantly ahead of the competition when recruiting for staff.
National Recruitment Manager
Cathy's previous experience includes a long background of Recruitment, Staff Management including training and Business to Business Sales. She ran her own business for over 12 years with up to 30 sales and marketing staff. Cathy have worked within the Building Industry as a Recruitment specialist and also with The Master Builders Association as a members specialist advising large commercial and residential builders.
Cathy is thrilled to be part of the National Salon & Spa Recruitment team for over 2 years now immersing herself in the Industry with amazing clients and colleagues. On a personal level, Cathy is an animal lover with two rag doll cats that she adore. Love living by the beach, drinking great wine, eating great food with an amazing circle of friends and family.
Silvia began her working career as a hairdresser in the late 80`s in her home city of Adelaide. After almost 20 years on the floor including taking some time off, Silvia changed direction slightly to the training side of hairdressing. In 2010, between home renovations and regular trips to her favourite family holiday spot, Bali, it was time for a career change. Silvia progressed down the training/education path with roles in a few federal and state funded VET/Vocational Learning and Apprenticeship Programs. Here, she completed an Advanced Diploma of Management and an Advanced Diploma of Management (Human Resources).
More recently after taking some time off to travel and refine her Yogi skills, Silvia is very excited to come full circle and return back to her hairdressing origins with the team here at National Salon & Spa Recruitment. Silvia look forward to supporting our clients and help in finding the perfect staff for their teams.
With an extensive background in operating SME's, Brett has been involved with National Salon & Spa Recruitment since its inception.
Having been involved in the successful family operation of 2 previous businesses, it was a natural transition to step in the reassuring family environment once again.
Brother to Sheryl & Uncle to Kiara this family bond is one that is a happy & successful recipe.

A laid back, home-based, self-taught digital nomad that is constantly distracted by two beautiful rescue dogs. Jakarta born and raised, Bali/Adelaide based with casual hops between islands, countries, and continents for both work and leisure. Leaving 12 years of corporate office life in 2016 and never once looked back!
Novi had run her own business specialising in Social Media, Administration and IT from then and then began working with National Salon & Spa Recruitment in 2017. Coming from a hairdresser family background, plus 3 years of health and beauty industries experience, joining National Salon & Spa Recruitment was meant to be! An old soul, wanderer, spontaneous, curious one, happy go lucky! Life motto: "Semper Ad Meliora - Always towards better things".
